After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hardin Valley Academy, Lenoir City was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the South-Doyle Cherokees by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cherokees back in March, they had to take a 11-5 defeat.
Lenoir City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Branson Dean, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Luke Chadwick was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
