Dillingham was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were six  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   35-29 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chevak Comets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Comets this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  48-39  defeat  back in February.
 Chevak was led to victory by  Justin Atchak and  Liam Pingayak-Green.  Atchak  posted 11 points in addition to seven  blocks and five  rebounds, while  Pingayak-Green  scored 18  points. The dominant performance gave  Atchak a new career-high in  blocks.  Ian Chayalkun was another key player,  putting up two  points and four  steals.
Dillingham's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Chevak, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season.
As of now, neither Dillingham nor Chevak have any future games scheduled.
