The Auburndale Bloodhounds had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 25-3 margin over Davenport. The result was nothing new for Auburndale, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Jaysean Pritchard was his usual excellent self, gaining 209 total yards.
Auburndale's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Elijah Dias and his three sacks.
Auburndale's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Davenport, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Auburndale will take on Lake Wales at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Wales will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Davenport, they will head out on the road to face off against Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gateway is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
