Houston Academy Gets a Boost from Mitchell in 57-7 Win
Houston Academy picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kadyn Mitchell. Mitchell was unstoppable, throwing for 274 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punching in a rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Northside Methodist Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Mitchell. Mitchell threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.
