St. Michaels waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Kent County Trojans with a sharp 12-2 win. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.

Eli Wallace spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brock Grow was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Lucas Greenwood was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

St. Michaels' victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Kent County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

St. Michaels has already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Cambridge-South Dorchester on the 27th. As for Kent County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-6 victory against Sts. Peter & Paul on the 25th.
