The Minneapolis Lions lost against the Southeast of Saline Trojans back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Minneapolis was dealt a 67-32 loss at the hands of Southeast of Saline. Minneapolis has not had much luck with Southeast of Saline recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Southeast of Saline found their leader in underclassman Gannon Jacobson, who scored 17 points. Jacobson also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Kejr, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Minneapolis' defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Southeast of Saline, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Minneapolis will head out on the road to face off against Valley Heights on Tuesday. As for Southeast of Saline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
