Rocky Mount Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 72-16 victory over the Liberty Christian Academy Heat. That 56 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Rocky Mount Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Berkeley Miller out in front who posted 23 points and seven boards. Miller continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Carmichael, who had 26 points.

Rocky Mount Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Rocky Mount Academy pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game.
