Pathway Christian has gone 8-2 against Unity Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Pathway Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 71-65 victory over Rivermont Collegiate on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
Pathway Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Denver Nelson, who went 7 for 13 en route to 21 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ryker Miller, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 22 points.
Meanwhile, Unity Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 49-48 to Pathway Christian. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Pathway Christian will have to contain Nathan Woessner as he made an impact in Unity Christian's last game. He dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Woessner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Hayes, who posted six points.
Pathway Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Unity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
