The Riverdale Ridge Ravens waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 85-46 win over Northridge. Riverdale Ridge has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Marcus Hinh, who scored 33 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Kameren Davis was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Northridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lincoln Lyons, who scored 15 points. Lyons continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Walker, who scored nine points along with three blocks and two steals.
Riverdale Ridge pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Northridge, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale Ridge will take on Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Roosevelt focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
