 Meanwhile, North Central hadn't done well against Ainsworth recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. North Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  50-48  win over Ainsworth. The Knights didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this  victory makes it their second in a row.
 Anselmo-Merna is also on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record  this season. As for North Central, their record now sits at 4-10.
