The Tilden Blue Devils will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Corliss Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Tilden will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, Tilden gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Harlan as Tilden made off with a 47-25 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-6.
Tilden can attribute much of their success to Rachel Ruiz, who scored 15 points along with six steals. That's the first time this season that Ruiz grabbed two or more steals. Antonella Villegas-Sarmiento was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Corliss' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 28-15 to Hancock.
Tilden's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Corliss, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
