The Riverside Christian Academy Royals stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 81-13 at home. The victory was just what Riverside Christian Academy needed coming off of a 83-27 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paris Autry, who scored 30 points along with nine steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Autry has scored at least a third of Riverside Christian Academy's points. Unique Cooke was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Riverside Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 103-360.
Riverside Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Wayne Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Shabach Christian Academy Blue on January 27th.
