The Hamilton Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Memphis East Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two weeks ago, things could have been worse for Hamilton, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to Haywood. Hamilton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, even though Melrose scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Memphis East still came out on top. Memphis East took their game against Melrose 65-56.
Memphis East got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashlee Sinkfield out in front who scored 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sinkfield has scored at least 25% of Memphis East's points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Spearman, who scored 15 points.
The losses dropped Hamilton to 0-2 and Haywood to 1-3.
Hamilton suffered a grim 62-41 defeat to Memphis East in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
