When it comes to explaining why Southeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Garrett Sprutte. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 60.8% of Southeast's points, marking the 12th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Southeast's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-6. As for Aquinas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
