Grace Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 30th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They received a  blow  as they fell  48-29 to the Southern Christian Patriots. The Crusader were down  38-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 Grace Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Thad Shuler, who  posted nine  points.
 Southern Christian can attribute much of their success to  Jedd Scott, who  went 8 for 16  on his way to 17 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. That's the most  points  Scott has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gabriel Decker, who  scored 13 points in addition to seven  boards and five  steals.
Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Southern Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
 Grace Christian will square off against Kings Way Christian School at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Grace Christian is facing Kings Way Christian School at the right time seeing as Kings Way Christian School is stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak. As for Southern Christian, they will face off against Wiregrass at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
