Charlton County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Trenity Hamilton, who  dropped  a double-double with 21  points and ten  boards. Hamilton has been hot, having also posted two or more  steals the last six times she's  played.  Mahogany Steele was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with ten points and 20  rebounds.

 When it comes to explaining why Lake Oconee Academy lost, don't look at  Ansleigh Padgett. Despite the final result, she  posted 19  points along with five  boards and three  steals. That's the most  steals  Padgett has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Ella Strickland, who  put up five points and six  rebounds.
Charlton County has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.9 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Lake Oconee Academy and  nudges their season record down to 17-9.
 Coming up, Charlton County will take on Randolph-Clay at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Randolph-Clay will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  victory, something Charlton County surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Oconee Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
