Merrill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 54-33 margin over the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons. The Vandals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Merrill's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Merrill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-42 loss against Michigan Lutheran Seminary on the 4th. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
