The Center Cougars lost to the Sutter Huskies back in February of 2023, but the Center Cougars didn't allow the Sutter Huskies the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Center slipped by Sutter 48-47.
It was another big night for Terrill Reid, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Victor Routh, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Center has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Sutter, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center will square off against Colfax at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sutter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th.
