Eli Poteet Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Augusta Eagles got the W thanks in part to Eli Poteet playing the best football he has all season. Poteet rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.
Poteet is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Victory Christian on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Poteet saw Victory Christian), he rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns.

Colin Wood produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Coastal HomeSchool to the win on Thursday. Wood threw for 277 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 89.5% of his passes.
