After a string of four wins, Largo's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-40 punch to the gut against Boca Ciega. The result was totally at odds with the teams' state rankings as Largo enjoys a hefty 137 spot advantage.
The loss dropped Largo's record to 4-2. The victory bumped Boca Ciega's record up to 4-2.
Largo will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Osceola in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Largo have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Osceola are surely hoping to exploit. Boca Ciega will take on Gibbs at home at 7:30 PM next week.
