Crofton won the last time they faced Central City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors skirted past the Bison 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jaisie Janssen paced Crofton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Janssen got some help from Emma Kuchta and her eight assists. Finally, Janssen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Central City lost, don't look at Skylir Fischer. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and five aces.

The win got Crofton back to even at 4-4. As for Central City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Crofton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boone Central at 7:00 p.m. As for Central City, they are taking a road trip to take on Doniphan-Trumbull at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
