Annabelle Loucks paced Heritage Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Loucks got some help from Kristin Osborne and her 32 assists. Abby Leveillee controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Lyons found their leader in sophomore Gwen Gadbaw, who had 16 digs. Gadbaw is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Audrey Voss also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lyons, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-1.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Heritage Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Gilpin County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lyons will square off against rival Flatirons Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
