There's no place like home for Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 win over the Palestine Wildcats on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Roughriders have posted since March 1st.

Center's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-19. As for Palestine, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Center will face off against rival Madisonville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Palestine is set to square off against their familiar foe Hudson at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
