Clayton-Bradley Academy found their leader in underclassman Mia Adkins, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. Adkins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bria Moynihan, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Clayton-Bradley Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Paideia Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton-Bradley Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. First Baptist Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses, the Blazers a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
