Kosciusko fell to Florence 19-36 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Kosciusko had just enough and edged out Florence 28-25. The win was a breath of fresh air for Kosciusko as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Kosciusko's record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped Florence's record to 1-5.
Kosciusko will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Leake Central. Kosciusko will be strutting in after a victory while Leake Central will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Florence, they will face off against Richland. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
