Warren Township was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Grant Community on Saturday. The Blue Devils blew past the Bulldogs 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Warren Township's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Grant Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Township will challenge Libertyville at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Grant Community, they will face off against Grayslake North at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
