Madison extended the longest winning streak in Western this week by beating La Jolla, 56-7. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Point Loma moved up to 181 from 229 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pointers were able to make move up by beating Mission Bay 34-14.
Madison's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kareem Coles threw for 178 and two touchdowns and Vincent Parrish had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Pierre Cormier chipped in 228 yards. Adrian Bishop helped Madison's passing attack out by catching one ball for 59 yards.
Madison's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warhawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Coles has thrown for 1065 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Lee Walker has 25 catches for 401 yards. Cormier leads the league in rushing with 1300 yards.
