Jaysen Cronin and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Pleasanton picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaysen Cronin. Cronin turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Pleasanton pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Cronin's next game is against Sandhills Valley on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Conner Paulsen Goes Supernova in South Loup Victory
South Loup found a leader in Conner Paulsen as the team took down Ravenna on Friday. Paulsen was dynamite, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Loup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Paulsen and South Loup will look to defend their home field on Friday against Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m.

Connell Made His Presence Known in Sandhills Valley's 26-22 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Leyton Connell stepped things up a notch to give Sandhills Valley the 'W'. Nobody could stop Connell as he rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
For the season, Connell has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 143.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to five.

Aj Starr Makes It Two for South Loup
The second South Loup player making an appearance here is Aj Starr, and for good reason. He picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 50 yards.
This year, Starr has averaged 15.9 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
