Liberty County is 2-8 against Sneads since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Liberty County will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points on September 5th, then bounced right back against Franklin County two weeks ago. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 43-27 win over the Seahawks.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 15 points in total. All came from Cesar Lopez: he went 5-for-5 kicking field goals for 15 points.
Meanwhile, Sneads won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Bozeman 20-19. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.
Liberty County better keep an eye on Pious Reed. He was instrumental in Sneads' win, rushing for 159 yards while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, Reed is now averaging an impressive 104.2 rushing yards per game.

Liberty County couldn't quite finish off Sneads when the teams last played back in September of 2024 and fell 14-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Reed, who rushed for 112 yards and a pair of TDs. Now that the Bulldogs know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
