With a playoff game on the line, the American Heritage Patriots rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-13 win over the Eagles at home. The win was nothing new for American Heritage as they're now sitting on six straight.
American Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deandre Desinor, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Desinor was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Byron Louis, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
Although North Broward Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Tromon Isaac jr. and Anthony Mestre.
American Heritage pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for North Broward Prep, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
American Heritage will look to defend their home field on Saturday against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. King's Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. North Broward Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
