Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Teresa). They snuck past the Branham Bruins with an 83-77 victory on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Branham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden - Joseph Vietvu, who posted 17 points and three steals. Vietvu is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Carlo Marinucci, who went 8 of 18 on his way to 21 points.

Santa Teresa is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Branham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
