Hampton Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They breezed past the TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers to the tune of 76-38. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Beach Breakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hampton Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marcus Ruff, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Ruff a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Powell, who put up 15 points.
Coming up, Hampton Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for TEACH Homeschool, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 12.
