The Lincoln Lynx pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Sioux City East, falling  86-59. It was the first time  this season that Lincoln let down their fans at home.
 Despite the loss, Lincoln still got an impressive performance from   Cole Arnold, who  scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dillon Jones, who  scored eight points.
 Lincoln's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-5. As for Sioux City East, the  win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against the Crusaders at 2:00  p.m.  on February 3rd. Bishop Heelan Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matches. As for Sioux City East, they won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against the Wolfpack on February 3rd. Western Christian will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
