Even though the Lindblom Eagles scored an imposing 61 points on Thursday, the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors still came out on top. Perspectives Leadership/Technology managed a 66-61 win over Lindblom. The victory was all the more spectacular given Perspectives Leadership/Technology's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Lindblom is ranked 36th).
Kenric Mosby was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. He set a new season high mark in assists with six. Another player making a difference was Dwayne Davis, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Perspectives Leadership/Technology and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Lindblom, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Perspectives Leadership/Technology will take on Fremd in a holiday battle at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday at. Lindblom won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Marion at 8:30 p.m. on December 15th.
