Cajon has gone 9-1 against Redlands East Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cowboys will venture away from home to take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Cajon proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Beaumont, sneaking past 25-23.

Jordan White and Marcus Washington were among the main playmakers for Cajon as the former gained 129 total yards and three touchdowns and the latter threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. What's more, White racked up 94 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
Cajon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Cajon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Uziah Todd, Cole Imbriani, and Zion Wallace picked up one apiece. Todd is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Taylor Johnson was another major factor on D, picking up 1.5 sacks and making 24 total tackles.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Redlands East Valley). They blew past Redlands 69-28 on Friday.
Cajon better keep an eye on Vitela Isaac. He was instrumental in Redlands East Valley's win, rushing for 185 yards and two scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 279 yards and five TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes. Isaac's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Nathen Lopez was in the mix as well, providing Redlands East Valley with two touchdowns.
Redlands East Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points over those games. As for Cajon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything came up roses for Cajon against Redlands East Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
