Despite the loss, Laurel Hill still got an impressive performance from Aiyana Dixon, who posted 24 points. Dixon's evening made it 16 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
Natalie Toney was her usual excellent self, going 15 for 29 on her way to 27 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals for Crestview. Toney is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of M?Jay Johnson, who earned nine points along with eight boards and seven steals.
Laurel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Crestview, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
Laurel Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-42 loss against Rocky Bayou Christian on the 30th. As for Crestview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-43 win against Freeport on the 28th.
