Soccer Recap: Maumee Comes Up Short

Maumee and Lexington squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Maumee had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Minutemen. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Maumee's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Maumee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-4. As for Lexington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4-3.

As of now, neither Maumee nor the Minutemen have any future games scheduled.
