After soaring to 57 points the game before, Chicago Mathematics & Science were a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were outmatched by Legal Prep on the road and fell 52-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chicago Mathematics & Science has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Chicago Mathematics & Science had strong showings from August Ineka, who scored two points along with five steals and three blocks, and Bryan Martin, who scored six points along with two steals and two blocks. Ineka has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legal Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamal Craig, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurquese Washington, who scored 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Chicago Mathematics & Science and nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Legal Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.
