In what's become a running theme this season, Poston Butte gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They put the hurt on the Anthem Prep Eagles with a sharp  11-5 victory. Poston Butte's win was all the more impressive since Anthem Prep was averaging only 3.08 runs allowed on the season.
  Haylee Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Lopez has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Lopez was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Poston Butte got a big performance out of  Kimberly Westover, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run. Another player making a difference was  Aliyah Madrid, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 On Anthem Prep's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bailey McCabe, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Poston Butte and  bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for Anthem Prep,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poston Butte will take on American Leadership Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Poston Butte is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.4  runs per game this season. As for Anthem Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glendale Prep Academy at 3:00  p.m.  on April 8th.
