Rashad Dockery Goes Supernova in South View Victory
Starting off the list is South View's Rashad Dockery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dockery rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
The win (which was South View's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Dockery will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Gray's Creek on Friday.

Reed Came Up Big in Gray's Creek's 28-24 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ezekiel Reed stepped things up a notch to give Gray's Creek the 'W'. Reed was unstoppable, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Lumberton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Reed it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Reed saw the Pirates), he rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Seventy-First Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Donavan Frederick
Donavan Frederick's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Frederick was dynamite, rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Seventy-First pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Frederick and Seventy-First will look to defend their home field on Friday against Purnell Swett at 7:30 p.m.

Deandre Nance Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Deandre Nance was instrumental in extending Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nance was excellent, rushing for 113 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.1).
Nance is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Purnell Swett on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Nance saw the Rams), he rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Bryan Charles Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Cape Fear got the W thanks in part to Bryan Charles playing the best football he has all season. Charles picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
If the past is any indication, Charles could be in store for another big game when he takes on Jack Britt on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Charles saw the Buccaneers), he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
