Azle Christian put the hurt on Bethesda Christian with a sharp 54-34 win. The result was nothing new for Azle Christian, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
A.J. Rollins went supernova for Azle Christian, rushing for 224 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 carries. Rollins was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards. Andy Wisniewski was another key contributor, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Meanwhile, Texoma Christian fell victim to Nazarene Christian Academy's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 50-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. Texoma Christian's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Azle Christian's victory bumped their season record to 6-2 while Texoma Christian's defeat dropped theirs to 3-4.
