Belfry is a perfect 4-0 against Tolsia since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Pirates will welcome the Rebels at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Belfry's last matchup with Lawrence County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Belfry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Hagy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Tolsia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 15-2 to Lincoln County.

Tolsia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Belfry, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Tolsia's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Saturday. Belfry has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Tolsia, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Belfry keep running through batters, or will the Rebels buck the trend?

Everything went Belfry's way against Tolsia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Belfry made off with a 15-8 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
