Pioneer-Pleasant Vale won the last time they faced Pond Creek-Hunter and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Panthers. Considering the Mustangs have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale and bumps their season record up to 20-3. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale will challenge rival Waukomis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 2.6, the Chiefs 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
