North Hunterdon extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 7-10 in the process. They fell  5-1 to the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers.  Hunter Brown was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  four earned runs off   six  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side,  Liam Kane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Bridgewater-Raritan, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-10. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
On Bridgewater-Raritan's side, they got a great performance from  Jack Lanum as he  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. What's more,  Lanum posted five  strikeouts, the most he's  had  over his last six  contests.
 At the plate,  JR Rosado was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kellan Komline, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Looking ahead, North Hunterdon will be playing at home against Newton  on Saturday. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, they will head out on the road to  take on  Watchung Hills Regional  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
