Mount Judea has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Lead Hill Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Mount Judea suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Alpena 76-38.
Meanwhile, Lead Hill's five-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Deer with a sharp 55-33 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lead Hill has posted against Deer since January 26, 2021.
It was another big night for Kaden Baker, who scored 14 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Nicklas May was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Mount Judea dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight at home. As for Lead Hill, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-22.
Mount Judea took a serious blow against Lead Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 58-28. Can Mount Judea avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
