Osseo-Fairchild had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eleva-Strum Cardinals 2-0. The Thunder's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Osseo-Fairchild's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Eleva-Strum, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
