The North Henderson Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 62-40 walloping at the hands of West Henderson. North Henderson has struggled against West Henderson recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Amy Rhymer was North Henderson's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Rhymer also led the team in assists with four.
Kayden Lyda went supernova for West Henderson, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaza Wilson, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
North Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for West Henderson, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
North Henderson will take on Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pisgah presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Henderson in North Carolina (Pisgah is ranked 127th, while North Henderson is ranked 524th). As for West Henderson, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tuscola at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Hopefully Tuscola focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Wednesday.
