Volleyball Recap: Yucaipa Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Etiwanda, Yucaipa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the El Dorado Golden Hawks 2-1. This was payback for the Thunderbirds, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Yucaipa has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for El Dorado, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-7.

Coincidentally, Yucaipa and El Dorado will both be playing Alta Loma the next time they take the court. The Golden Hawks will head out to face the Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Thunderbirds will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
