Tularosa extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-6 in the process. They put the hurt on the Hot Springs Tigers with a sharp 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Hot Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

For Hot Springs' part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilyanna Castaneda, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Sophia Garcia was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Coming up, Tularosa will host Cobre at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Wildcats have won six straight at home, while the Indians won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Hot Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
