The Northbrook Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Milby Buffs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northbrook is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Northbrook had to suffer through a rough 54-12 loss at the hands of Cy-Fair. Northbrook was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-2.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-22, which was the final score in Milby's tilt against Austin on Monday.
Northbrook bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Milby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Northbrook beat Milby 36-26 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Does Northbrook have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milby turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
